Belbana is a Belgian company founded in 1991. Our main expertise lies in the import and distribution of fresh tropical fruit throughout Europe.
For more than 20 years we have made use of a strict follow-up of the production, packaging and distribution to guarantee the arrival of high quality fruit in the right variety, caliber and presentation in Europe.
We only work with producers that agree with the Code of Conduct of the BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) http://www.bsci-eu.com and respect the maximum allowed levels of pesticides for conventional bananas as determined by the EU regulation 396/2005 http://ec.europa.eu/sanco_pesticides/public/index.cfm. Moreover, most of our products are GlobalG.A.P. certified and the Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain (FASFC) inspects almost every day all goods arriving at our custom warehouse.
